Tucked right beside our beachfront volleyball court, Sand Castle 5 is a ground‑floor studio that wakes you up with shimmering water views of the Potomac. Inside you’ll find a bright open space plus a separate nook with a twin bunk, giving the studio flexibility for up to 4 guests (extra‑guest fees apply).

The highlight here is a full‑size gas stove/oven and refrigerator, perfect for guests who love to cook “for real” even on vacation. After a day on the sand, stream your favorite show on the HD TV, then head outside to your private picnic table, charcoal grill, and fire‑pit for marshmallows under the stars.

With a Full bed and a Twin‑over‑Full bunk, this studio comfortably hosts 4 guest (extra‑guest fees apply). Your private patio area mirrors the river, steps from the volleyball court.

Prepare simple seaside snacks in your kitchenette before settling on the patio to watch volleyball matches or sunset over the river.

Please Note – Weekends are lively and typically booked to capacity. For a quieter stay, consider our 2‑night or 4‑night midweek packages.

All three Sand Castles sit beneath a separate upstairs apartment (Unit 8), so you may hear light footsteps above now and then. We look forward to hosting you on St. George Island!

Rates and Conditions

The rates listed below are inclusive of all taxes and cleaning fees. These rates are valid for the period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. Please note:

  • Holiday Weekends Excluded: These rates do not apply to holiday weekends. Please contact us for special holiday rates.
  • Additional Guests: An extra charge will be applied for each guest beyond the standard occupancy. Any person above 12 years of age will count as an additional guest.
  • Check-In and Check-Out Times: Regular check-in time starts at 5 PM and check-out is at 10 AM.
  • Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: Available for an additional cost and must be arranged in advance.
  • Deposits: All reservations require a deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total reservation cost at the time of booking.
  • Full Payment for Last-Minute Bookings: Reservations made within 48 hours of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be submitted in writing to cancellations@campmd.co. For detailed information about our cancellation policy and eligibility, please visit our Rules Page.
  • Parking: Each cottage has assigned parking spaces. Please note that parking is limited based on the occupancy of each unit. We encourage guests to carpool when possible to help conserve parking space. We appreciate your cooperation in making the most of our limited resources.
