Arrivals and Departures

For Cottages

Check-in is 5:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM.
Early check-ins or late checkouts must be prearranged there will be additional charges, for more information please check out our Additional Charges page.

For Campsites

The regular time for check-in is 12:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM.
There is no option to check in early or late for campsites.

Reservations and Deposits

All reservations must be made with a credit card and require a fifty percent 50% deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due at the time of check-in.

Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be in writing and email to cancellations@campmd.co
Cancellations of 15 or more days before your arrival date will receive a full refund minus a processing fee of 5%.
Cancellations of 14 days before your arrival date will receive a 50% refund of your original deposit.
Cancellations of 5 days before your arrival date will receive 25% back of your original deposit.
Cancellations of 4 days or less before your arrival date will not qualify for a refund.
Reservations made the same day as arrival do not qualify for refunds.
Cancellations for Holiday weekends made with less than 14 days of arrival date will not qualify for a refund.

Disclosure

Seaforth Partnership LLP dba Camp Merryelande assumes no responsibility for the unsafe operation of any recreational equipment or the damages to property or people this might cost.
Guests are responsible for the safe operation of all recreational equipment use at the campground and to maintain the proper insurance for any vehicle/property entering the premises. They must follow all operational safety guidelines of the product/vehicle.
Parents must see their children are wearing safety equipment like helmets and life jackets when riding any recreational vehicle.
Guest must swim at their own risk and watch for minor children as the campground does not offer a lifeguard.
Management reserves the right to evict any person or group for non-compliance with the posted rules or courtesies. Guest will not receive a refund if they are asked to leave the premises for failure to follow campground rules.

This is a copy of our terms and conditions, every guest is asked to sign this at the time of check-in.

1. CHECK IN: Cottages & Campsites 5pm to 11pm
2. CHECK OUT: Cottages 10am | Camp Sites 12pm
3. RENTAL AGREEMENT must be signed and balance paid at the gate before check-in. A 50% deposit is required for all reservations. CANCELLATION FEE of 50% of your deposit will be charged if you cancel your reservation and your deposit will be forfeited if the unit will not re-rent.
4. WRISTBANDS: YOU MUST WEAR IT AT ALL TIME, if your wristband gets loose or breaks please approach the camp store for a replacement. Wristbands are proof that you have pay to enter the campground.
5. ADDITIONAL GUEST, guest exceeding capacity of rented unit must pay the weekend pass fee per person at the gate at time of check-in
6. WEEKEND PASS, guest without a reservation can access the campground by purchasing a weekend pass.
7. ADULTS, anybody 13 years old and up will be considered an adult and must pay a day camper fee.
8. KIDS 12 and under are free.
9. PETS, there is a charge of $25.00 per pet for the weekend or $10 per day. No vicious pets or breeds of pets allowed. Pets are to be kept on a short leash & not left unattended. Pets are NOT ALLOWED on the beach or playground area, you are responsible for your pet’s actions, and please pick up after your pet and dispose of properly.
10. SMOKING POLICY: All cottages are NON-SMOKING.
11. NO REFUNDS. Camping is an outdoor experience. No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature. No Refunds are given if you choose to leave early.
12. LIFEGUARD, there is NO Lifeguard, all children must be under adult supervision.
13. GLASS, no glass bottles on beach or pier, breaking glass is not permitted in this campground. There is a clean-up fee for unreasonable litter left at campsites, cottages, and beach, including fishing gear, ashes on the beach, cigarettes butt’s and bottle caps, burning or dumping ashes on the beach.
14. BEACH FIRES are permitted only in self-contained fire bowls or fire pits.
15. MUSIC, NO LOUD MUSIC IS ALLOW AT ANY TIME, GUEST MUST TURN OFF MUSIC PLAYERS, DIM LIGHTS AND KEEP NOISE TO A MINIMUM AT 11 pm.
16. QUIET TIME IS FROM 11 PM TO 9 AM, disturbing other guests, such as loud music at any time, aggressive or barking dogs, will result in EVICTION (many people retire early & their privacy should be considered).
17. WARNINGS, guest will be given one verbal warning otherwise eviction may carry on.
18. CHANGING SITES, do not change sites without prior manager approval.
19. FISHING, ONLY AT THE PIER OR DESIGNATED AREAS. FISHING IN SWIMMING AREAS IS NOT ALLOWED. ALL GUEST MUST HAVE A VALID FISHING LICENSE AND FOLLOW FISHING STATE REGULATIONS.
20. NO FISHERMAN PASSES ON THE WEEKEND.
21. Guests are responsible for safe operation of all recreational equipment at Camp Merryelande. Parents must see to it that their children are wearing bicycle helmets. It’s the Law.
22. CAMP MERRYELANDE ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR UNSAFE OPERATION OF ANY RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT OR DAMAGES TO PROPERTY OR PEOPLE. IT IS THE GUEST RESPONSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN PROPER INSURANCE FOR ANY VEHICLE/PROPERTY ENTERING THE PREMISES FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION.
23. MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EVICT PERSONS FOR NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE ABOVE RULES OR COURTESIES. NO REFUNDS GIVEN.
24. Piney Point is a residential area when entering please keep your speed limit to 30mph or less. Please watch out for kids playing.
